Jo Tankers announces today an order of two LR1/PANAMAX – 74.500 deadweight tons from STX in South Korea with delivery in late 2012 and early 2013. These vessels represent an expansion the Jo Tankers fleet, as well as a strategic move to also include larger product tankers in the portfolio of vessels.

Jo Tankers operates a quality chemical tanker fleet with parcel tankers in worldwide trade. The vessels vary in size up to 37,000 dwt, and are designed to safely carry nearly any kind of liquid product ranging from specialized chemicals and acids, to edible oils and potable alcohols.
